The Israeli government is going to take 1000 workers from Nepal for the agricultural sector. Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar and Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Khanan Goder informed about this during the meeting held at the ministry on Monday.

As soon as the directive is issued, Nepali workers will be able to go to Israel for caregivers & Agriculture workers. With the passage of the directive, Israeli employment, which has been suspended for nearly five years, has reopened. In the first phase, 1000 Nepalis will be able to go to Israel. Workers will be selected on the basis of competition.

According to the ministry, during the meeting, the labor agreement between the two countries was discussed. During the discussion, Ambassador Goder informed that the Israeli government has decided to take 1000 Nepali workers for agricultural work.

Similarly, he also informed that out of 9,699 people who applied for auxiliary workers, 1,147 workers were selected, half of them have gone to Israel and half are preparing to go. As the Ministry of Labor has recently passed a reintegration policy for Nepali workers who have returned from abroad, Minister Kunwar requested the Israeli investors to assist in this.

Also, on the occasion of the meeting, Minister Kunwar requested Ambassador Goder to create an environment for taking them to Israel as soon as possible, as around five hundred Nepali youths are yet to go to Israel after being selected as auxiliary workers.

Israel Working Labour Contract through Government to Government (G2G) Process.
1. Nepali Citizenship Holders
2. Age Between – 25 years to 45 Years
3. After passing +2 (Class 12) and taking Agriculture Working & caregiver training for three months, they will get the opportunity.
