Road and sewer maintenance services,
Food, quality testing,
Exam-related activities conducted by various agencies and educational institutions,
Overseas Study Permit (NOC) related services,
Service related to character certificate provided by Nepal Police,
Other services related to public services as specified by the relevant ministry or agency,
Public designated by the state government and local level
Other services related to service delivery, banking and insurance related business.

Hospitals, telecommunications (including cyber security and internet),
Ministries, departments and offices that provide daily and emergency services such as immigration, waste management, fire brigade, Taksar, Radio Nepal, Nepal Television, printing department, post office, peace security, disaster etc. must provide services without stopping daily work even on public holidays.

Employees who are assigned to provide services on public holidays will get leave instead.
