Petrol and Diesel Prices Increased, Aviation Fuel Prices Decreased
Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the prices of petrol and diesel. According to the new price list sent by Indian Oil Corporation, the corporation has increased the price of petrol by 1 rupee per liter and diesel by 2 rupees per liter. According to the new price, the price of petrol in the valley will now be 163 rupees per liter.
The price of diesel will be 153 rupees per liter. However, the corporation has reduced the price of aviation fuel. The price of aviation fuel for domestic flights has been reduced by 2 rupees per liter, making it 126 rupees per liter.
For international flights (for Kathmandu), the corporation has reduced the price by 15 US dollars per kiloliter. The new prices will be effective from midnight on Tuesday. The corporation has stated that the price of cooking LP gas will remain unchanged.
According to the corporation, the price of petroleum products from India has increased accordingly.
According to the reduced price, the new retail sale price of petroleum products up to 15 km from the corporation’s depot / office has been maintained as follows.

The amount owed by the corporation to Nepal Government and Indian Oil Corporation Limited is about Rs. Arrangements are being made to sell and distribute petroleum products to common consumers in an easy and simple manner, even when there is 14 billion remaining.
It is informed that the corporation has adjusted this price keeping in mind the interest of the general consumer even though the corporation is still facing challenges in managing the arrears of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and the loan provided by the government.
