Who Can Apply for Teaching License- Required Qualification Training for Teaching License
- Must have completed 18 years of age by the last date to fill out the application form,
- Must have obtained a certificate of Nepali citizenship,
- Must have submitted equivalency certificate in case of educational qualification obtained from foreign educational institution,
- Not disqualified to be a candidate as per prevailing law.
- The minimum educational qualification required for advertisement will be as under
- For the primary level:
Having passed at least proficiency certificate level (10+2) Class 12 or similar examination from a recognized educational institution and passed secondary education examination with at least 10 months training in education or 400 integer education subject, - For Lower secondary level:
At least 10 months training in education subject by passing proficiency certificate level (10+2) Class 12 or similar examination in any one subject (Nepali, English, Mathematics, Science and Social) from a recognized educational institution with at least 200 integers. - For secondary level Type 1:
Any one of the subjects to be examined by a recognized educational institution with at least 300 integers (Nepali, Social, Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, English, Office Operations and Accounting, Law, Guardian Science and Animal Science) At least 10 months training in education by passing at least bachelor level or similar exams. - For secondary level Type 2:
Any one of the subjects approved by the Commission with at least 300 integers from recognized educational institutions (Nepali, Social, Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, English, Office Operations and Accounting, Law, Parent Science and Animal Science) Only for teachers who have passed the examination at the postgraduate level or equivalent and have obtained a temporary teaching license as a teacher working at the previous higher secondary level. - For secondary level Type 3:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination in at least 300 integers in any one of the recognized educational institutions in Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, English, Office Operations and Accounting, Law, Agriculture (Crop Science) and Animal Science.
Economics, History, Rural Development, Geography, Civics, Political Science, Philosophy, Ethics, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Population. Only candidates who have passed the examination of at least 300 integers in the relevant subject in the case of the level will be eligible to be candidates in the examination for the teaching license of the lower secondary and secondary level social studies subject respectively.
In addition, a candidate who has attained the minimum qualification or higher qualification prescribed for the respective level can be a candidate in any one of the subjects he/she wants by passing the examination in different subjects. The Commission will issue a permanent teaching permit if the candidate is successful in the advertisement application with proof of completion of at least 10 months of training in education subject within 5 (five) years from the date of publication of the result. I Ed, B.Ed or M.A. from a recognized educational institution. If you have passed Education, you will be considered to have completed 10 months training in education.

Procedure for submission of Teaching License TSC License:
- Go to www.online.tsc.gov.np Website portal to Submit an Application for Teacher License.
- Enter your Mail Id Phone number to apply Online Application for Teaching License Form.
- Enter & Submit your all personal details, education qualification, training status & faculty details.
- After entering all details upload your PP Size scanned photo, education qualification scanned copy photo, citizenship photo & signature.
- After filling and submitting the online form, the amount as per the voucher to be generated from the system should be deposited in the specified bank.
- If the details are different, the application form may be canceled.
