Institute of Medicine (IOM) was established in 1972 under Tribhuvan University with the mandate and the responsibility of training all the categories of health-related human resources according to the need of the country. Within the first decade of its establishment, it extended into 22 campuses across the country. IOM was established with the following goals:

To produce of health-related human resources required for health services and education
To provide health services through its health institutions
To conduct research in health sciences

2 Nephrology- DM in Nephrology or equivalent
3 Plastic surgery and wear – MS in Plastic Surgery or equivalent
4 Emergency – DM EM/MD EM/MD GP and EM
5 Anesthesiology- MD in Anesthesiology or equivalent
6 Gastroenterology- DM or equivalent in Gastroenterology
7 Cardiology- M.D./D.M. or equivalent in cardiology

1. S.L.C. Copies of certificates of all educational qualifications and above.
2. Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
3. Copy of registration registered with Nepal Medical Council.
