In order to improve the SEE results of the public schools operating within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, in the academic session 2079, it has been decided to deploy experienced expert facilitators and teaching assistants in the schools to assist and facilitate the learning of the students who will participate in the SEE examination in the academic session 2079.
This notice has been published to apply to those who are willing to work. You are requested to fill the online form through Link given below within seven days from the date of publication.
1. Teaching Facilitator – 25 Numbers
For: Mathematics, Science, English, Social & Nepali Subjects
Education Qualification/ Experience
University Professor, Secondary Level Experts in related subjects who have mandatory leave from teacher or officer level or have worked in various associations for at least 10 years of experience only. Experts in related subjects
Academic Facilitator- This is the application form for the position of Academic Facilitator. The role of the facilitator is to guide and advise teachers to improve learning outcome of the students. Their engagement will help children not only with academic development but also entire holistic development, both in and out of the classroom.
The form has six sections.
- Section 1 gives information and asks for your email ID.
- Section 2 asks for your personal information.
- Section 3 has three essays; each essay should be answered between 300 to 500 words.
- Section 4 asks for the commitment
- Section 5 ask to upload the Resume/CV and citizenship
- Section 6 asks for your confirmation before submission.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Strategies to achieve academic, non-academic goals by organizing training, learning circles and individual support plans
- Implement transformational vision of impact for students and teachers, develop corresponding definitions, goals and rubrics to measure impact
- Plan and execute teacher training and professional development programs in local level to the highest quality in order to achieve transformational impact
- Coordinate with the Training experts to build Training and Professional development programs at the organizational level for impact
- Coach and develop teachers to ensure their individual learning and growth
- Support teachers’ initiatives in community engagement and project initiatives,
- Keep teachers accountable to their respective school and their plans.
- Manage a team of approximately 10 teachers in a Cluster
- Build a strong team culture in the cluster to ensure that the teachers support each other and help to sustain in the community
- Conduct activities in a cluster level to achieve vision and academic and non-academic goals for impact
Skills and experience need
- 10 years of teaching experience of the relevant subject in secondary level (Math, Science, English, Nepali, Social Science)
- Ability to creatively solve problems, mediate conflicts, negotiate and communicate assertively in Nepali and English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)-who can speak compellingly about the vision, mission and goals and has a mature presence
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Commitment to excellence and accuracy, with an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills and remain flexible in order to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethics
- Good content mastery of the subject matter
- Innovative and entrepreneurial competency
- Tech and IT savvy
- Proficient of languages of Nepal beside Nepali and English is preferable

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with at least 2 years of teaching experience

- Regular evaluation of students
- Engaging parents and helping in administrative tasks
