EPS Korea HRD Office published the notice regarding filling of the application form for training purposes of Root Industry. EPS Korea Language Training & Skill Technical Training of Root Industry open for all. According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concluded between the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea, sending workers to the welding sector of Root Industry under the Employment Permit System (EPS) is providing employment opportunities to Nepali citizens in the Republic of Korea.
According to the letter received from HRD Korea regarding the conduct of the Korean language test to select the candidates for sending workers to Korea as a pilot project through Root Industry as an effort, 120 hours of training in Korean and 120 hours of welding will be provided and they will be included in the employment process to participate in the training program for a fee.
Eligible Nepalese citizens mentioned in the interested details are invited to register the application form based on the following details. Training and other details are mentioned below.
- Field of training and work:- After training and passing the Korean language test, if selected by the employer, work in the welding field.
- Eligibility of Applicant :-
a) Nepali citizen.
b) The age of 21 years and not exceeding 35 years, i.e. the date of birth of the concerned candidate is from August 29, 1988 to August 29, 2002 accordingly .
It should be between 2045 Bhadra 13 to 2059 Bhadra 13).
(c) Not found guilty by court in criminal charges.
d) Not working in Korea on working visa.
e) The government of Nepal has not stopped going to other countries.
f) Color Blindness. Color weakness and Disk & Finger Amputation did not exist.
g) Passed minimum class (+2)
- Application Registration Process:-
(a) Application registration date: – 2080 Bhadra till 11th Monday and 12th Tuesday (accordingly August 28-29, 2023).
b) Application registration process:– Exam application form should be done online only by going to epsnepal.gov.np.
EPS Korea Working Visa Language & Skill Technical Training Documents required for registration of application
- When filling the application form, the applicant has to upload a scanned JPG Image file (Width 600 pixels. Up to Size B) of the passport photo page (Bio Page).
- The applicant must attach the application form along with the certificate of educational qualification (mandatory), the certificate of training in the relevant field, the certificate of experience in the relevant field, the certificate of passing the TOPIK Level and the NSTB WAT skill test certificate.
- In the application form, both ears are visible M. drawn after 3 months. R. P. A color photo of size 100 cm with white background, upper chest visible, without white clothes should be scanned and uploaded.

After the completion of the training, the language test will be conducted immediately. After the applicants are selected, in addition to the training fee, the test fee for the Korean language (EPS-TOPIK UBT) exam that will be conducted at the end will be 28 (twenty-eight) American dollars (USD 28). - Detailed information regarding examination method, examination venue and examination time:

4 Welding welding joints
5 heat treatment heating
6 surface treatment includes surface heating, all of these are completely iron (metal) related work.
According to information Trainees who want to participate in this exam must conduct it through KNPI
●120 hours of welding training
● 120 hours of Korean language training (no need to study at any institute/even if I study, I will not get it)
Both must participate.
