The Teachers Service Commission (Shikshak Sewa Aayog) is now going to advertise teachers in the new structure. The Teachers’ Service Commission (Tenth Amendment) regulations, which were amended in Ashwin last year, provide for advertisements according to the new structure.

As provided in the regulations, the Commission will advertise secondary and lower secondary level at the Pradesh (Province) level and primary level advertisement at the district level. Earlier, advertisements for secondary and lower secondary level were being done according to the development region and primary level advertisement was being done according to the district. Now that the regulations have been amended, the commission will now fill the vacancies at the Province (Pradesh) level in the case of lower secondary and secondary level.

In addition, the regulations have mentioned that the commission should disclose the necessary details to fill the vacancies and advertise through national level newspapers. The rules also state that the commission may advertise at various stages to manage teacher appointments.
