For the implementation of the provision in Article 16 of the National Medical Education Act, 2075 BS, “Guidelines on Foreign Study Licensing for Medical Education Undergraduate Level, Postgraduate Level, Fellowship Program and Higher Level Training, 2077” have been issued and everyone is aware of the process. In this regard, all concerned are informed to do the following.
Medical Education Commission Chikitsa Shiksha Aayog Eligibility Letter Details
- Students going abroad to study in a subject registered with the Health Thematic Council of Nepal will have to pass the integrated entrance examination conducted by the Medical Education Commission and go to study only with a study permit and the commission will not be responsible if anyone goes to study without a study permit.
- Study permit will be provided to the student himself or his parents only on the basis of affidavit or authorization letter.
- Login to the Commission’s website https://eligibility.mec.gov.np to apply for a license online.
