Ministry of Education release press notice about school education starts with alternative methods. Hundreds of thousands of school-age students who have been barred from studying due to corona virus (Covid-19) will be able to study through alternative methods from Ashadh 1. Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel has issued a press release on Sunday calling on all concerned bodies at the federal, state and local levels to start reading from Asadh 1.

Stating that it is inevitable to minimize the educational loss due to long-term disruption of schooling, it is being made easier for school age children. Explaining that the ministry has issued a directive to facilitate student learning through alternative system to create a conducive environment for reading, Minister Pokharel urged all to implement it. The Minister of Education has stressed on the need to create an environment for students to learn at home by using various means.

With this call of the Minister of Education, the way has been opened for all public and private schools to advance the education of students through alternative methods at the school level. In addition, it will be legally recognized. In the case of higher education, universities have already decided to allow alternative methods of teaching. In addition to this, the ministry is engaged in homework to take appropriate decision in the near future considering the transmission of corona virus regarding the postponed examination of Secondary Education Examination (SEE), said Minister Pokharel in his statement.
