The Press Council Nepal and Media Development Fund have called on journalists and media outlets to submit grant applications to purchase communication equipment.
According to the council’s approved policy, budget, and program, which aims to provide various facilities to journalists and media organizations in rural areas, applicants are urged to submit written or online applications to the Press Council Nepal Media Development Fund Secretariat within 35 days.
Selected applicants will receive grants of 40 percent for laptop purchases and 30 to 40 percent for camera purchases. The notice specifies that only one facility can be applied for by a single journalist or media organization.

Laptop purchase subsidy (40 percent): 16 units
Camera Purchase Subsidy (30 to 40 percent): 4 nos

Local communication media in remote areas and districts that have not previously received such support will receive priority. The application must include the applicant’s signature, contact number, necessary documents, and email address.
