Employees Provident Fund, Fund Board Meeting No. 1687 by the decision dated 2081/03/06, the fund will provide the provident fund amount and pension fund amount for the financial year 2081/82 and the interest rate charged to the saver by the provision in section 15 and section 18.
The Employees Provident Fund Act, 2019 dated 2081 Shrawan Since the following has been determined with effect from the 1st, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned to do accordingly:

(1) The annual interest rate to be provided on the provident fund amount and on the pension fund amount is 5.50 (five point five zero) percent.
Interest Rate for Saving Pension Fund: 5.50 %
Interest Rate for Special Loan Bisesh Sapati: 6.60 %
Interest Rate for House Loan Educational Loan House Repair Loan: 7.50 %
Interest Rate for Land Purchase Loan: 8.00 %
Rebate of 0.25 (zero point two five) percentage points will be given in case of depositors who regularly pay the interest of mortgage-based mortgages other than special mortgages
(2) Annual interest rate charged on savings bonds:
(a) 6.60 (six decimal six zero) percent on special loans,
(b) 7.50 (seven point five zero) percent on house loan, educational loan and house repair loan,
(c) 8.00 (eight decimal zero) percent on land purchase agreement and simple agreement.
(3) Rebate of 0.25 (zero point two five) percentage points will be given in case of depositors who regularly pay the interest of mortgage-based mortgages other than special mortgages.
