Nepal Oil Corporation has raised the prices of petroleum products. Effective from midnight tonight, the corporation has increased the prices of petrol by 2 rupees per liter, and diesel and kerosene by 4 rupees per liter.
The corporation has also announced an increase in aviation fuel prices. Domestic aviation fuel has increased by 6 rupees per liter, while international aviation fuel for Kathmandu has increased by 43 US dollars.
According to the new pricing:
Petrol prices will be:
=> 167 rupees per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal regions
=> 166 rupees in Surkhet and Dang regions
=> 164.50 rupees in other areas
Diesel and kerosene prices will be:
=> 160 rupees per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal regions
=> 159 rupees in Surkhet and Dang regions
=> 157.50 rupees in other areas

The corporation has categorized its depots into three classes based on their location. The prices differ slightly across these classes. The price increase is due to a rise in the purchase price from the Indian Oil Corporation.
