Nepal Oil Corporation Announces Reduction in Fuel Prices. Nepal Oil Corporation has announced new petroleum product prices, with several fuels seeing price reductions.
According to the announcement, petrol prices have been reduced by Rs. 2 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices have been lowered by Rs. 1 per liter. Aviation fuel has also seen price cuts, with domestic aviation fuel prices decreasing by Rs. 4 per liter and international aviation fuel for Kathmandu dropping by US $29 per kiloliter.
The corporation stated that LP gas retail prices will remain unchanged. According to the new pricing:
Petrol Price in Nepal
- Petrol Price Per Liter: Rs. 155.5/- Rs 157 & Rs 158/- (First Category, 2nd & 3rd Category)

The corporation has categorized its depots into three classes based on their location. The prices differ slightly across these classes. The price increase is due to a rise in the purchase price from the Indian Oil Corporation.
