According to sources, the Prime Minister is positive to lift the ban on TikTok. Sources say that after receiving his green signal, the Minister of Communications has instructed the staff to collect comments for the ban to be lifted.

In section 3 of the procedure, there is a provision related to listing social networks. Tiktok is about to open after the listing is ready according to this section.
According to ministry sources, the government has given a three-month time period for Tiktok to be listed. Sources claimed that the ban will be lifted in a few days.
Ever since the ban, Tiktok in Nepal was constantly trying to release it. Even earlier, by sending a letter, he promised to follow the laws of Nepal. However, the government was not flexible. But since the current government has been flexible, the environment has become open to Tiktok.
