Embassy of Nepal, Washington, DC Since it has decided to provide passport renewal service through a mobile camp targeting the Nepali community living in that area at the following location, date and time in Seattle, Washington, it sincerely requests everyone related to the embassy to take the passport renewal service by filling out an online application for that date and time.

How to fill out the online application and make an appointment for e-passport renewal: The Embassy of Nepal Consular Service Camp
- First of all, you have to go to the Date and Time Setting of your computer/laptop or mobile and choose Time Zone “Kathmandu, Nepal”.
- After going to https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np/ and selecting Apply for Passport, Renewal/Replacement(Lost/Stolen) or handwritten passport should be renewed by selecting First Issuance and proceed to Ordinary 34 pages.
- Appointment Country – Other should be selected and Appointment Location – NE, Washington DC should be selected.
- After that select the following Appointment Date provided only for Seattle Mobile Camp and after filling all the details, you have to download the PDF form with a barcode at the end. (A barcode can be seen on the right side and bottom of the downloaded form.)
Appointments can be made on any of the following dates for the Seattle Travel Camp:
1. June 1, 2024
2. June 2, 2024
A scanned PDF copy of the form with barcode, photocopy of passport, and citizenship must be attached and sent to the embassy’s email consularseattle@nepalembassyusa.org for verification before May 24.
Since the details/data filled by the applicant cannot be retrieved without verifying the form and Biometrics cannot be taken without it, the form must be sent to the embassy within May 24 for verification. Otherwise: Service cannot be obtained from the camp.
- The applicant should appear in person at the specified place and time mentioned above along with the print copy of the downloaded form and other necessary documents.
- As the date and time of coming to the mobile camp for service will be available in coordination with the local organizers, when sending the application form to the above email address to the embassy for verification, you must also send your email and mobile number.
- The embassy will provide the application form and contact details received to the local organizer on a first-come-first-serve basis and the local organizer will provide the appointment based on that.
Necessary documents to bring while coming to the camp for e-Passport application:
➢ Complete citizenship and its copy.
➢ In case of minor, copy of minor’s identity card and citizenship of father and mother.
➢ Complete passport and copy thereof.
➢ Printout copy of duly filled online form (https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np/) for Biometrics with barcode.
➢ Passport Duties (see attached table)
➢ Self Addressed Prepaid Return Envelope (Self Addressed Prepaid Return Envelope) with the full address of the applicant to be sent to the address of the applicant after the new passport is printed and received by the embassy from the passport department.
Other procedures related to passport service, and necessary documents will be the same as when applying regularly at the embassy.

E-Passport Online Service Important information about passport appointment
The appointment slots opened for passport services on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, 2024 are only open for the mobile camp that will be held in Seattle, Washington from May 30 to June 3, and since the embassy will be closed on those days, those who wish to receive the service from the embassy can do so on the mentioned dates.
It is requested not to make an appointment. Otherwise, if you make an appointment on those dates, the embassy will not be able to provide services.
