Necessary qualifications and conditions:
Age: Nepali citizens who have completed 30 years and not more than 45 years for city police inspector, city police assistant inspector and 18 years and not more than 35 years for city police jawan till the last date of application
Educational Qualification:
Recognized for City Police Inspector Should have passed graduation level or equivalent from an educational institution, S.L.C. from a recognized educational institution for the post of City Police Assistant Inspector. S.E.E. Or should have passed the same, for the post of City Police Constable, must have passed class eight.
For all the mentioned posts, one should not have been convicted of any criminal charges showing moral turpitude.
Not removed from any service so as to be disqualified for government service in the future.
Not a member of any political party. 6. Not being punished for violating human rights and humanitarian laws.
For the posts of City Police Inspector and City Police Assistant Inspector, one must have retired from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Sahastra Police Force of Nepal at least as a junior officer or equivalent. City police candidates must submit a health certificate from an approved doctor along with the application will have to do.
Height, chest weight and eyes:
In case of male height less than 5 feet 2 inches chest at least 31 inches when inflated and at least 33 inches when inflated weight at least 50 kg
In case of women, height at least 5 feet, weight at least 42 kg. In the case of both men and women, the eye should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
