Notice regarding submission of application for connection of Solar Irrigation System. Under the project “Promotion of Solar Energy in Rural and Semi-urban Regions of Nepal” run by the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, the Center for Alternative Energy Promotion and the German Cooperation Mission with the financial support of KFW, solar irrigation system (Solar Pumping System) open free application form for Solar Water Pump Irrigation System.
Program Details – Free solar water pumps to individual farmers or private agricultural firms for agricultural irrigation
Submission of Application- Who are eligible to Apply for Solar Pumps Irrigation System :
Based on the demand received from individual farmers or private agricultural firms in 22 districts of Terai, which are more than 300 meters away from the place where electricity distribution service is available by any means, the concerned municipality along with recommendations.
Necessary documents-
1. Application of concerned consumer or private agricultural firm.
2. Demand form with complete details in the format prepared by the center (All the documents mentioned in the website can be obtained.

Individual farmers or private agricultural firms interested in installing the above-mentioned solar energy based irrigation system must submit an application to the office of this center or to the email address sipdemand@gmail.com for a maximum of 15 systems with the details mentioned in the demand form prepared by this center.
