GEMS School, a leading educational institution, founded in 1984 A.D., is a co-educational school and focuses on the overall development of the students.
We implement the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for Grades 1-5, and modern student-centered
pedagogies in teaching-learning activities across the School. We will be initiating the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) in Grade 6 in the upcoming academic session.
We invite applications from well-qualified, trained and dynamic candidates possessing a strong command over written and spoken English, with at least three years of working experience.
1. Primary School
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in related subject
(Preference will be given to candidates with IPC or PYP training background.)
a. Grade teachers
for Maths and English (One post each for immediate recruitment)
b. Subject teachers
for Maths, Science and English (One post each)
2. Middle School
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related subject
a. IMYC Coordinator,
with relevant training and working experience
b. Subject teachers
with relevant experience of IMYC or MYP for Maths, Science, English Language and Arts, Nepali (One post each)
3. Secondary School
a. Computer Science Teacher
(Qualification: Master’s degree)
b. Librarian
(Qualification: Graduate, preferably with a degree in Library Science)
4. Sports and Activities Department (Full-time position)
a. Coach (Athletics, Volleyball and Swimming-one post each)
Requirement: Only female candidates for swimming and volleyball
b. Assistant Coach (Swimming- one post, only female candidates)
C. Life Guards (Swimming- two male and two female personnel, with certified life guard credentials)
5. Administration
Qualification: Graduate preferred
a. Control Room Officer,
with experience of operating and monitoring CCTV, having sound knowledge of security techniques, systems and maintenance of the systems.
(For immediate recruitment)
b. Transport-in-charge,
responsible for overall administration, planning and management of the bus routes, scheduling, with sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
c. Senior Cooks
(Two posts, having relevant experience of Nepali, Indian, Chinese and Continental
cuisine)
