The shares issued by Rapti Hydro and General Construction Limited to the general public have been distributed today (July 25th) on Monday. The IPO was distributed at the office of the company’s share issue and sales manager, Siddharth Capital, Naxal.
The company distributed the IPO which was opened for issuance and sale from June 29th to July 1st. The company had issued 23 lakh 66 thousand 240 shares of ordinary shares including the remaining 37 thousand 623 shares for the residents of the project affected areas. Out of the total shares issued, 3 percent i.e. 70 thousand 988 shares have been reserved for employees and 5 percent i.e. 1 lakh 18 thousand 312 shares have been reserved for the collective investment fund. Only the remaining 21 lakh 76 thousand 940 shares have been allotted to the general public.

A total of 14 lakh 91 thousand 722 applications were received for that share. Out of which 14 lakh 90 thousand 298 applications have been approved and 1 thousand 424 applications have been cancelled. Out of the approved applications, 217,694 lucky people got shares at the rate of 10 shares.
As there are more applications than the demand for the shares of the company, the shares have been allotted at the minimum rate of 10 shares according to the Securities Issuance and Allotment Guidelines.
