The Chief Minister’s Employment Program (Mukhyamantri Rojgar Karyakram) is being implemented under a special program of the Karnali State Government to help alleviate poverty by involving the unemployed youth of Karnali and those affected by COVID-19 at the local level to create employment and conduct income generating activities. Under this program, at least one project will be implemented in each ward of the municipality and village of Karnali in the following areas

- Road
- Irrigation
- Drinking water
- River or waterborne outbreak control
- Lakes, reservoir construction and conservation
- Playground
- School building (including compound, fencing)
- Tourism infrastructure
- Health Building,
- Small Hydropower Development, Agriculture (including roads, irrigation, collective building, collective and cooperative farming)
Procedure to be followed while requesting the project
(A) The project should be demanded in the format as per schedule-2 of the Chief Minister’s Employment Program Implementation Procedure, 2078 (the format is available on the website).
(B) When requesting a project, a demand should be made in groups of at least seven consumers except for one house.
A person belonging to one group will not be allowed to join another group and demand a project.
(C) The Application Last Date to Apply by 5 pm on 2078-05-22.
Method of submitting the project: The project has to be submitted through the website cmep.karnali.gov.np.
