National Insurance Company Limited ( Rastriya Bima Company Limited ) Insurance Committee, Nepal published notice regarding the Corona Virus Disease Insurance Policy. Covid 19 Insurance Policy by National Insurance Company Limited Insurance Committee has been implemented in Nepal considering the situation where most of the countries including Nepal are affected by the Corona Virus (Covid 19) which is currently spreading as a global epidemic.
Similarly, the Government of Nepal will pay 100% of the insurance premium to all federal / state and local level government employees, teachers, permanent, temporary and contract employees. National Insurance Company Ltd. Has been requested to submit to the office.

This insurance policy can be done under group, family and individual under micro insurance. As per the instructions, the premium will be as follows.
Category a) Rs. Annual premium of one lakh insured: Rs. 1,000.- (one thousand only), including the entire family members, Rs. 600.-
Category b) Rs. Annual premium of fifty thousand insurers: Rs. 5,00.- (only five hundred), including all the members of the family, Rs. 300
