Who Can Apply for the NEB Class 12 Exam?
According to the official notice, the following categories of students are eligible to apply:
1. Regular Examinees
- Students who appeared in the Class 11 examination in 2082.
- Must have obtained at least Grade D (theory) and Grade C (internal/practical) in all subjects.
- Must submit:
- Class 11 registration card
- Class 11 grade sheet (verified by the institution)
2. Partial Examinees
- Students with NG (Not Graded) or ABS (Absent) status in one or more subjects.
- Only the failed/NG subjects are allowed to be applied for.
- Previous grade sheets must be attached compulsorily.
Applications that do not meet these conditions will be automatically rejected.
- Regular students must have completed Grade 11 with a minimum grade of D in all subjects and a C grade in practical/theoretical assessments. Students must attach their certified Grade 11 marksheet from their school showing these minimum grades with their application form.
- The examination fee structure varies depending on registration timing. Regular fee is Rs. 800 per student, while the late registration fee is Rs. 1,600 per student. These fees must be deposited directly to the National Examination Board’s account.
- Both regular and partial students must take their exams from their designated exam centers. No changes in examination centers will be permitted.
- Partial students can only apply for examinations through the same school where they previously appeared for exams. Applications submitted through different schools will be automatically cancelled.
