Teachers have been vaccinated against covid since Falgun 23. The government has decided to vaccinate teachers against Corona virus (Covid-19) from falgun 23. Out of the 2 million doses purchased from the Serum Institute of India, 1 million doses of vaccine arrived on Sunday and the teachers have been included in this phase.

College professors, teachers and staff, public transport drivers and co-drivers will be able to get vaccinated at this stage. The decision was taken at a time when teachers are being criticized for not being given priority despite being in direct contact with children.
A meeting of stakeholders including the Secretary of the Ministry of Health and experts held on Saturday reviewed the progress of the vaccination campaign so far and made various decisions. The ministry has already decided to vaccinate senior citizens from falgun 23. Other staff working in the pharmacy, laboratory staff and cleaning staff will be vaccinated on falgun 9 and 10.
