Applications are invited from the candidates who meet the following criteria as the office assistant position in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City is to be filled on a contract basis.
Candidates who meet the specified qualifications should apply only through the Online Application System on the website of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, City Executive, kathmandu.gov.np.
Outreach Center Counselor (1 position) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Three years of experience in counseling and social work
- Age between 25-40 years
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications
- Fluency in Nepali and English
- Local language knowledge and experience with foreign migrants preferred
Psychosocial Counselor (1 position) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Assistant, Staff Nurse, or related fields
- Experience working with marginalized communities preferred
- Age between 25-40 years
- Computer proficiency required
- Bilingual proficiency in Nepali and English
- Priority given to candidates with experience in foreign employment sector
Returnee Volunteer (2 positions) Requirements:
- Minimum Class 8 Passed
- Priority given to candidates with experience in foreign employment sector
- Must be eligible for government service as per prevailing laws
Application Process:
- Candidates must submit copies of citizenship certificate, educational certificates, and passport-sized photos
- Application fees: Rs. 500 for Outreach Center Counselor and Psychosocial Counselor, Rs. 300 for Returnee Volunteer

The positions are temporary, with contracts lasting until Ashar 2082 (mid-2025), subject to program requirements and performance. Salary and benefits will be as per the program’s provisions.
