Application fees – One thousand two hundred rupees in case of first and second class officers,
Officer 3rd Class – One thousand rupees
Assistant First- Rs.400

When submitting an application in an inclusive group, the examination fee will have to be added at the rate of half of the prescribed fee for each additional group.

Probationary Period – The probationary period of appointed employees will be 6 months in case of women and 1 year in case of men.

Introduction: National Judicial Academy ( Rastriya Nyaayik Pratishthan):
The National Judicial Academy (NJA), a member of International Organization of Judicial Training, was established in 2004 to serve training and research needs of the judges, government attorneys, government legal officers, judicial officers, private law practitioners, and others who are directly involved in the administration of justice in Nepal. The initiatives to establish the NJA began in 2002 under the Asian Development (ADB) financed project. Its former establishment took place in 2004 under the NJA Ordinance which is now substituted by National Judicial Academy Act, 2006. The NJA works under the broad policy guidelines of sixteen members’ Governing Council headed by the Chief Justice of Nepal.

Field of Activities Trainings :
We have focused on training to contribute to enhance overall personality development of all personnel of stakeholders of the NJA. It has helped to enhance knowledge and skills that impact on promotion of effective, efficient and accessible justice.

Carry out research and produce publications, reports and recommendations in respect of reforms to relevant aspects of the law and administration of justice

Advancement of the Judicial System:
Coordinate, and collaborate with the Judicial Council and Judicial Service Commission in improving judicial administration
Promote a competitive, professionally competent, service oriented and effective Nepal Bar
