The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial discipline with proper accounting system. S/he has to prepare financial reports, presentations, and manages day-to-day financial transactions and financial correspondence, realistic analysis of annual budget forecasts, including controlling and monitoring of budget. 

Qualification, Experience and Skills: 
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management with one year of relevant work experience. Knowledge of government regulations in relation to procurement and accounting system of Nepal will be an added advantage. (Preference will be given to candidates having two-wheeler license)

Job Positions:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for implementation of the project with various tasks including preparation of comprehensive action plans, budget management, tracking of activity implementation status, regular technical support and guidance to partner schools, project monitoring, progress reporting and relationship building/ coordination with local government bodies and stakeholders. S/he will provide technical support to partner schools on planning, capacity building and implementation of project activities related to equitable access to education, learner’s safety, strategies to address learning losses, preparedness for crisis, strengthening socio-emotional skills of children. With the support of Community Mobilizers, s/he will directly engage with partner schools and stakeholders for promoting educational resilience on equitable access to education

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Master’s Degree in any discipline with three years of experience in development sector, preferably in education sector. Preference will be given to candidate having sound knowledge and experience in project management. Having experience in ICT based education/distance learning and coordination with stakeholder will be an added value. Preference will be given to candidates having two – wheeler license.

2. Community Mobilizer (2) in contract basis – based in Bharatpur, Chitwan:
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective implementation of project activities. S/he will support the Project Coordinator in implementation, coordination, and monitoring of project activities at the field level, and ensuring quality and timely implementation of project activities as per the detailed activity plan. S/he will support the project on capacity building of teachers, tracking of project activities, monitoring of project implementation, community awareness, coordination with local government bodies and stakeholders, etc. S/he will directly work with partner schools in their engagement in project activities.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with two years of experience in development sector (preferably in education sector). S/he should have sound knowledge in Information Communication Technology, and project management skill. Candidates having experience in community mobilization will be an added advantage. Job Positions:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (1) : SOS Children’s Village Gandaki
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible to support the development programmes of SOS CV Nepal within the programme location. S/he takes a leading role in managing the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and tracking monitoring indicators. S/he supports the implementation of self-evaluations for working with target groups under the supervision of Location Leader.

Key Performance Areas and Main Responsibilities:
Supports the Location Leader in developing Results Framework, needs assessment, baseline study and implementation of monitoring and evaluation system.
Writes concept note with input from stakeholders, shares current baselines and supports in setting realistic targets.
Responsible for preparation and review of progress reports.
Supports the Location Leader to organize Review and Planning Meetings by engaging stakeholders in learning & sharing process, promote, and explore ways to use results to improve quality of programs.
Manages research activities and ensures outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with relevant stakeholders
Regularly reviews & analyzes Program Data Base (PDB) to improve data quality
Supports external evaluators & provides monitoring data for Impact Assessment study and supports stakeholders in the implementation of recommendations.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Public Health, Development Studies, or related subjects with at least one year of relevant work experience.
Knowledge and work experience in the development of Result Framework, reviewing and analysing the data to improve the data quality, conducting Need Assessment of projects, writing project concept notes and preparing periodic progress reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
Experience of working with children and young people will be an added advantage.
(Preference will be given to candidates having two – wheeler license).

2.Office Secretary (1) : SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Gandaki
Office Secretary will be responsible for organizing and maintaining an efficient and effective office that handles a variety of tasks for the administration, faculty, students, and parents of the school. S/he has to contribute to the efficiency of the delegated tasks by ensuring all assigned administrative duties are carried on timely and efficiently.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably IT and Management with at least one-year of relevant working experience.
Preference will be given to the candidates having Secretarial Training.
Quick professionals with great time-management and multitasking abilities, should have good language command in both English and Nepali (both writing and speaking).
