Japan Embassy Scholarship Application Open Notice for Nepal

The Embassy of Japan in Nepal ANNOUNCEMENT Notice OF SCHOLARSHIP in various course/ programs. Japan Embassy Scholarship Application Open for Nepalese students. The Embassy of Japan announces the competition for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarships for Nepali students for the academic year 2023 in the fields of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Government of Japan announces scholarships for Postgraduate/Research Students, Undergraduate Students and Specialized Training College Students for the Academic Year 2023 under the MEXT Scholarship Program as follows:

Program & Qualifications details of Japanese Embassy Scholarship Applicant Candidates

1. Research Students:
Must be under 35 years of age (as of April 1, “23) and have completed at least 16 years of education and secured 70% marks (CGPA: 3.1) for Natural Sciences and 60% (CGPA: 2.5) for Humanities and Social Sciences in average in all levels of exams.

2. Undergraduate Students:
Must have been born between April 2, 1998 & April and 1, 2006 have secured at least 75% marks (CGPA: 3.5) for Natural Sciences and 65% marks CGPA: 2.9) for Humanities and Social Sciences individually in SEE and Plus 2 exams.

3. Specialized Training College Students:
Must have been born between April 2, 1998 & April and 1, 2006 have secured at least 75% marks (CGPA: 3.5) for Natural Sciences and 65% marks CGPA: 2.9) for Humanities and Social Sciences individually in SEE and Plus 2 exams.

Written Examination Date: Written examinations will be held on July 9th.
The field of study must be the same as the applicants’ previous study leading to their final graduation. Notarized copies of the academic transcripts and Nepali citizenship need to be submitted along with the application. Application forms are available at https://www.np.emb-japan.go.jp.
