GLBSL received micro finance banking license from the Nepal Rastra bank, Central bank of Nepal in 2073/ 07/22. And company registration office in 2073/02/02.

Gurans Laghubitta GLBSL provides standard, reliable and sustainable financial services to the poor and marginalized members. It strives to promote saving, encourages income generation, self-employment, supports agriculture and micro–enterprises development, social awareness and provide social security. Gurans started providing financial services with paid up capital of NRs 2 Crore. Now the amount has increase to NRs 8.34 crore. GLBSL is lead by 24 core promoter shareholders along with general public shareholder after IPO.
