Dashain Tika Sait 2080 2023. Bada Dashain Tika Time Worldwide. Dashain or Bada Dashain (other names: Dussehra, Vijaya Dashami Navratri is considered to be the main festival of Nepali people. Dashain (Navratra) is also celebrated as a national festival. – They celebrate by taking Prasad and especially Purnima (to take Prasad).

On the day of Ashwin Shukla Pratipada (Ghatstapana) Jamara Rakhi till Navami, different goddesses are worshiped according to Navratri method every day. From Pratipada, Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kalratri, Mahagauri, Siddhidatri are worshiped respectively and Navadurga is worshiped and Saptashati (Chandi) is recited and special worship is done to Nava Durga and Trishakti Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswoti.

On the day of Vijayadashami, it is customary to wear red tika and jamra as an offering to Navadurga Bhawani to mark the victory of Lord Bhagwati over demon Shaktima and Rama over Ravana. The main day of this festival is the Dashami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin (Asoj) month. It is said that Lord Rama killed Ravana on this day. It is considered as the victory of truth over falsehood. Therefore, this Dashami is called Vijaya Dashami.
