The National News Agency (RSS), having nationwide network, is the largest and longest serving news agency in Nepal. It was established in 2018 BS under the Rastriya Samachar Samiti Act, 2019 BS, merging two privately owned news agencies with a view to facilitating newspapers and broadcast media. With the development of news media in Nepal, subscribers of RSS have so far reached more than 100 newspapers, radios, online media, and televisions. A pool of permanent and stringer reporters scattering throughout the country contribute to the news service and photo file every day.

To apply for the post of General Manager of the National News Committee, apply to the Nepali citizens with the required qualifications, experience, and age group as per the details to participate in the competitive selection process.
Details:
1. Nepali citizen.
2. Age: 30 years and under 65 years.
3. Passed at least bachelor level in any subject.
(A) Application for opening the transaction to be appointed,
(B) a copy of the certificate of Nepali citizenship,
(C) personal details,
(D) Copy of Certificate of Educational Qualification, (Certificate of Equivalency should be submitted in case of educational degree obtained from a foreign educational institution)
(E) a copy of the Experience Certificate,

Worked as the Editor-in-Chief, Editor, Publisher or Manager of a media registered in accordance with the law, or at the academic or policy-making level related to mass media, or at least seven years of experience in the field of journalism and mass media.
In the service of any government service or public institution, authority, board, committee, commission, establishment or public company and in the case of retired person, at least gazetted second class or ninth level for both.
