  1. First Paper: English Language Proficiency Test
    Full Marks
    – 80 Marks,
    Pass Marks– 20 Marks
    Exam Type: Written Exam- Objective Multiple Choice Questions
    Exam Time: 2 Hours
  2. Second Paper: Speaking & Listening Test 
    Full Marks
    -20 Marks
    Exam Type: Interview
    (Note: There is no negative marking system in both first & second paper exam)

First Paper – Unit – 1 Introduction Basic Knowledge of English language and Occupational Safety (10 Questions x 2 marks = 20)
1. General Communication skill in English Language
a. Self-introduction
b. Greetings
c. Queries and Responding
d. Complimenting and thanking.
2. Basic Concept of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
a. Potential hazards of work place
b. Safe lifting techniques
c. Health/Hygiene care, sanitation, medication and safety measures. 
d. Basic Knowledge of using OHS tools and equipment

Unit – 2 Communicative English Language (20 Questions x 2 marks-40)
1. Basic Knowledge of English Grammar (High school level)
i. Tense 
ii. Use of Articles
iii. Parts of speech
iv. Verb pattern (sentence structure)
v. Question formation (with or without auxiliaries)
vi. Question Tags
vii. Comparison of Adjectives
viii. Modal verbs: Can, could, May, Might, Will, Would, Shall, Should, Must and ought (To Express meaning such as Permission, Possibility, Certainty, obligation)
ix. Clauses (Adverb, Adjective and Noun)
x. Interchange of Active and Passive Voice

2. Corresponding and Reporting

Unit-3 Basic Understanding of Words for Caregiving (5 Questions x 2 marks=10)

Unit – 4 Knowledge of Caregiving (5 Questions x 2 marks=10)
1. Basic communication of work and work place with care receiver and medical personnel 
2. Basic Knowledge of caregiving for:
a. Maternal and Child care
b. Caregiving for elderly people
c. Caregiving for the people with Physical disabilities such as:
i. Hearing Loss,
ii. Blindness
iii. Mobility disabilities etc.
d. Caring for the people with special needs.
