The teacher Golden Handshake opportunity application is open. Apply Golden Handshake for Temporary Teachers. The Government of Nepal Golden Handshake Opportunity Notice for Temporary Teachers. The Ministry of Education published the notice regarding golden handshake opportunity for temporary asthayi teachers. There has been a demand to provide facilities for teachers who have been working continuously as temporary teachers till Asadh 15th of 2073 and who are automatically retired to get facilities according to the Education Act.

Temporary teachers who have completed the base and are automatically eligible to receive the facility according to the Education Act are requested to submit an application to receive the service facility Golden Handshake.

Details Documents to be attached with the application:
a) Copy of citizenship certificate,
Certificate of educational qualification of relevant level,
c) Appointment letter and supporting letter/documentation letter of the concerned level,
d) In case of transfer, transfer letter, confirmation letter and attendance information letter,
e) In case of being displaced and re-instated in the same or lower position, the letter of displacement and re-instatement,
f) A letter certifying that the head of the unit has been working continuously at the relevant level till 15th Asadh 2073
g) Certified letter of accumulated sick leave.
h) Certified copy of citizenship of next of kin

2 Basis of calculation of temporary service for the purpose of providing facilities
a) Temporary appointment on pure vacant posts and working continuously till the last date of application for examination,

b) Period of service in case of temporary appointment at the lower level and then re-appointment as a temporary teacher at the higher level
(if unbroken) up to the last date of application for the upper level examination) for all subsequent periods of service and working at the lower level
From the period of service, the period of service up to twenty years will be calculated and if the facility is provided, the period of the relevant level will be calculated from the prevailing scale of the relevant level and in the case of a temporary appointment at the upper level and then re-appointment as a temporary teacher at the lower level, if the service is pending, the last level examination will be completed. To calculate the service period up to the last date of application and from the service period of the previous higher level up to the period not reaching twenty years of service and when providing the facilities, the period of the respective level shall be calculated from the prevailing scale of the respective level,

c) Temporary appointment to posts under the Basic and Primary Women’s Education Project and temporary continuous employment
Period from date to last date of application for examination

d) The period from the date of appointment to the last date of application for the examination in case of temporary appointment in the lien position of approved posts.

e) The period from the date of appointment to the last date of application for the examination in the case of a teacher who has been temporarily appointed to a lien post of a teacher appointed as a resource person,
