Local Level Palika Nagarpalika Gaupalika Pradesh Province Budget Distribution Details. The government has announced a budget of Rs. 1793.83 billion for the coming Fiscal Year 2079/80. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma on Sunday presented the estimated income and expenditure details of the coming fiscal year in the parliament.

Out of the total allocation, Rs. 753.40 billion or 42 percent has been allocated for current expenditure, Rs. 380.38 billion or 21.2 percent for capital expenditure and Rs. 230.22 billion or 12.8 percent for financial management. Similarly, Rs. 429.83 billion or 24 percent of the budget has been allocated for financial transfer at the state and local level.

In order to make the service flow effective, the highest coordination and cooperation at the federal, state and local levels and the development process through partnership with public-private cooperatives and the private sector has been given through the budget. Despite the constraint on the resources of the federal government, equalization, supplementary and special grant amounts have been kept for the program of transferring finances at the state and local level by giving priority to the implementation of financial federalism.

The estimated source of expenditure will be Rs. 1.24 trillion from internal revenue and Rs. 55.11 billion from foreign grants. Similarly, a total of Rs. 498.46 billion will be borrowed from foreign loans including Rs. 242.26 billion and Rs. 256 billion internal loans.
