The vacant post of General Manager of Nepal Medicines Limited has to be appointed through an open competitive competition, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned to apply to the Government Industries and Institutions Branch, Singhdarbar, Kathmandu within 21 twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notice.

General Manager Job Vacancy Post- Nepal Aushadhi Limited
Qualification and experience
(a) Citizen of Nepal.
(b) Having passed at least a master’s degree from a recognized university in public health, pharmacy subjects or administration, management, economics, engineering or law related to the nature of the work of the relevant public body and having at least five years of work experience in a position of managerial responsibility in an organization or body,
(c) Industry and commerce and Not qualified according to Section 4 of the Directive 2078 regarding the appointment and nomination of officials in the public bodies affiliated to the Ministry of Supply.
(d) 35 years of age and not more than 65 years of age till the last date of submission of application.
Documents to be submitted by the applicant with the application:
(a) Along with the application, two copies of passport size photograph, educational qualification, certificate of Nepalese citizenship in the format as per Schedule 2 of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply published on the website www.moic.gov.np. Copies of personal details and copies of documents certified by the relevant body regarding experience should be submitted by the candidate himself.
(b) When submitting the details of experience, the name of the organization where he worked, the total period of work, age, month and day should be disclosed and submitted by himself.
c) Simultaneously, the candidate must submit a business plan 2 of maximum five thousand words (two copies sealed in one envelope) for the smooth running of Nepal Medicine Limited. The business plan should be typed on a plain white paper of A4 size.
(d) It is not allowed to put your name, signature or any other sign on the front page of the action plan (except on the cover page).
Presentation of Professional Action Plan and Interview:
Candidates whose application is accepted and shortlisted must attend the presentation and interview of the professional action plan they have submitted at the designated place, date and time.

The company was an extension of Formulation Unit of Royal Drug Research Laboratory (now National Medicine Laboratory under Department of Drug Administration) which was under Department of Medicinal Plant/Ministry of Forest. Technical experts for formulation of medicine, pharmacists, under the research laboratory were shifted to Royal Drugs Limited for production and quality control activities. The company was installed at Thapathali, within the premises of Royal Drug Research Laboratory which later on was shifted to its own land at Babarmahal. The company could come out with most of the pharmaceutical dosage forms viz: tablets, capsules, liquids (Oral and external), Oral Powder, Injectables (large volume and small volume), Ointments and Eye / Bar and Nasal drops. None of the pharmaceutical industries has been able to cover the range covered by this company till the date.
